Situated on the Welsh / Herefordshire / Shropshire Border, ‘The Old Vicarage’

provides a peaceful retreat and provides guests with an infinite number of things to do – walking, cycling, riding, sightseeing, golfing or simply unwinding.

Evancoyd is a small rural community in the heart of Radnorshire. The area is renowned for its natural beauty with rolling countryside and woodlands.

The famous Offa's Dyke footpath is nearby with the old market towns of Kington, Presteigne and Knighton just ten minutes away. The Old Vicarage is centrally located to visit Hereford, Leominster, Hay-on-Wye, the Elan Valley and Ludlow..

The Old Vicarage was built in 1896 and designed by the famous architect W.D. Caroe, who was a major figure in the Arts and Crafts movement and was architect to the Ecclesiastical Commissions from 1895 until his death in 1938.

We are a small holding with free range hens and ducks and very friendly sheep, alpacas and angora goats.

We are dog friendly and by arrangement we welcome well behaved dogs.

On your arrival, a welcoming complementary tea with homemade scones or cake is provided in the sitting room or the walled garden if you would prefer.
